Writers have to be creative. In fact, all entertainers have to be creative. How else would they be able to come up with so many new ideas and complex plots and all that stuff that makes people think "hey, this person's got talent" instead of "oh God oh God please no please stop I don't want to read about your sexy vampire fantasies anymore please no stop stop stop stop stop please I'll do anything just stop"? It's all about thinking in new and different ways and capturing that magic on paper. So, it stands to reason that people with ADD make good entertainers, since they're always looking at things in ways that other people don't, right?
Well, yes, but then you get to getting all those ideas and thoughts down on paper. Or film. Or... whatever. All those ideas come out and the magic begins to happen... but then the distractions come in. The person tries so desperately hard to make their ideas come to fruition, but they must constantly fight the distractions. It becomes a constant battle of "ooh, great idea, need to write it down real quick" "oh hey I haven't studied Flemish for a while" "GET BACK TO WORK YOU NEED TO WRITE THIS DOWN BEFORE YOU FORGET IT" "wait, did I eat lunch" "FOOD CAN WAIT GET BACK TO WORK" "oh my God the dog's doing something adorable" "GET BACK TO WOR- oh, never mind, that idea's gone anyway."
This was going to be a lot funnier but the idea I had in my head got disappeareded 'cause I was distracted by... writing this. What the hell.
The incoherent ramblings of someone with crippling anxiety and the attention span of a monkey on steroids who's been dumped in the south pacific and told to make a new life for herself by eating plants and trying to make sense out of nonsense which is probably what you're doing as you read this. Also cute dog pictures.

Daily Story 192 - SO MANY PRETTY THINGS
I always find it interesting when I go from being off my Adderall XR for a couple days to taking it again. It's such a switch from being all "ughhhh so much to do don't wanna do it gonna play video games because at least that's easy and doesn't get super confusing" to "ughhhh so much to do need to do it all RIGHT NOW" that it amuses me. I guess I can understand why people do drugs even though doing drugs is bad unless you have a prescription and a good reason to be taking them which I do because I can't concentrate on things the way most people do and it gets annoying but right now I'm still switching all over the place but at least I'm doing stuff while I constantly switch around. It's still crazy hectic, though, as you shall soon see because I'm going to write about it. This is pretty much what a day looks like when I'm on Adderall for the first time in a while.
Okay, just took my pill, time to check all my internet stuff while I wait for it to really kick in.
Hm, I should probably get to cleaning my room. It's still a dump right now and all...
Okay, getting things organized. This is good.
Hey, the dog needs to be brushed. I should do that.
Oh, right, I was cleaning out the shelves in that dresser wardrobe thingy, better get back to that.
Ooh, I wanna check that one thing on youtube.
Wait, I still haven't finished brushing the dog.
Okay, I need a box for all this stuff so I can actually make my room look clean.
Ooh baby pictures.
Augh, the dog's still only half brushed.
Oh, I need to make that video still.
Ew, this windowsill hasn't been dusted in ages.
Okay, that's good enough for now, time to brush the dog some more.
Wait, why does my stomach hurt oh yeah I haven't eaten lunch and it's 3 in the afternoon I'd better fix that.
Hang on a sec, we don't keep food in the dishwasher.
Oh, right, I need a plate.
Ooh, leftover spaghetti. And cheese. And and hot sauce yay!
I want orange juice.
Okay, got all the ingredients out, time to make oh wait I have to check a download.
While I'm on the computer, I should really get some other stuff done.
Hey, wait a minute, I put out spaghetti and all that other stuff a while ago. I should really make lunch before I forget again.
Okay, got it in the microwave, back to doing stuff.
Microwave beeped. Time to eat.
Yay for having desk space in my room. I can eat and use the computer at the same time.
Wait, wasn't I going to have orange juice? Oh, yeah, I left the bottle sitting out on the counter. I should probably do something about that.
All right, now I can eat and work and drink orange juice at the same time yay.
But I really need to finish emptying out those shelves before I forget...
Shelves.
Food.
Shelves.
Food.
Finally, finished my food, time to bring dishes out to the kitchen.
Shelves.
I feel like walking the dog now.

Daily Story 170 - Delayed Reaction
So yesterday morning I took my shirt off to keep it from getting wet as I washed my hair in the sink (I don't like the dorm showers at the moment due to being a neurotic crazy person) and left it off as I worked on other things. I took the towel off from my hair after a while and kept working, and then about half an hour after I'd washed my hair, I looked down and wondered when I'd taken my shirt off, as I didn't recall being particularly sweaty that morning.
About forty-five minutes later, after I'd put on a different shirt and headed out to class, I was thinking about the shirt I was wearing and remembered that I'd taken my shirt off because I'd washed my hair in the sink.
My brain does stupid things sometimes.

Daily Story 145 - Annoyances
You know what bothers me? Having such bad ADD that I can't manage to concentrate on anything that takes a fair amount of effort. Also, the fact that this takes a fair amount of effort. Why can't the world just let me be lazy?
